Science Experiments in Discovery

Science Experiments in Discovery from Alidia Ericsson on Vimeo.

We have been very lucky in the Junior School in the past two weeks. We have been creating Science experiments on Fridays for Discovery. We have made explosions, balloons that went zoom, made predictions, tested materials, made popcorn pop, made our own music, tested floating boats, made bubbles, wax resist, mixed colours, used salt to float eggs and many other great, get your hands dirty and make a lot of noise, stuff! We explained to each other how an experiment works and we worked on relating to each other while exploring through Science.

We would love more parents to come and join us in the fun on Fridays! 9am to 10.30am.

Have a nice weekend and see you at the swimming sports on Monday,

Discovery is such a fun time and filled with great learning opportunities! I loved watching the kids faces in this video, especially during the 'volcano' experiement.
